As before, here are a couple little treats and background info for the Pra/ey project. So as explained the idea was to create a collection of illustrations that tell a connected story that the viewer is free to interpret him/herself.
But how to show them was never perfectly clear from the beginning on. One of that major problems was always how to highlight specific parts of each drawing that are key to the story. Moreover, the world in which they are living in was crucial. As you can see in the pictures below I went through a multitude of variation, with a couple of them shown here.
In the end I settled for blurred backgrounds that show blurred bodies with the same poses are the illustrations to make the connections easier for the viewer, but not to break the visibility of the line art itself.
